The Securities & Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has issued final guidelines for infrastructure investment trusts (Invits) and real estate investment trusts (Reits), instruments expected to help these sectors raise resources to meet a funds crunch. They could generate investment of as much as $20 billion, according to some experts. 

New Delhi : The government today said the rupee has fared better than those of other emerging economies and the exchange rate has stabilised. Risks to capital flows were accentuated due to volatile global conditions and the US Federal Reserve's announcement last May of tapering its fiscal stimulus had severely hit the rupee value.
